How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're gonna take a look at the Yakima EXO System set up with the GearWarrior and GearLocker on our 2022 Toyota Tacoma. So, the EXO System is awesome because it allows you to customize your setup for whatever you're doing. In this particular configuration, we have it for more of a cargo setup where we have the GearLocker at the bottom and the GearWarrior cargo basket on the top. What that does for you, it's gonna allow you to increase the amount of cargo you can carry with you when you're going out on your adventures. So, you know, with the Tacoma, it's the shorter bed, so you don't have a lot of space. So, it's a easy way to add additional storage area for your trip. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're gonna take a look at our Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier with ramp on the back of our 2021 Thor Daybreak. This type of cargo carrier is gonna be great for you if you have a mobility device, if you have gear with wheels, or you have heavier bulkier items that you may need the team lift up onto the cargo carrier. It's very hefty, right at its 500 pound rating. Super cool as far as the construction of it, where you're gonna have real sturdy tiedown points as well as eye loops on this guy. In the stowed away position with the ramp, you can actually strap it down inside of the carrier or you can store it upright using these clamp system right here and still have the cargo area filled. Pull out your pin, you can remove the bracket on both sides. more

This is a really solid cargo carrier. You can use it on any two inch receiver, like even on your day-to-day vehicle. If you have a two inch receiver, you can use it to get additional cargo space. It's lightweight as far as moving it around for storage and in general, it's really solid with that 500 pound weight capacity. Clearly, this is an aluminum carrier, so that's going to provide corrosion resistance as well as being lightweight. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Honda Odyssey- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier on the back of our 2018 Honda Odyssey. Our Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier is a really solid constructed aluminum carrier. It's lightweight and corrosion resistant, at the same time being very sturdy, giving you a rating of up to 500 pounds. On the back of our Odyssey, it's minimally intrusive and we'll take a closer look at that. But as far as what you have out the box, you have two reflectors on the rear and you have a nice thick post on the top in order for your tie downs. The slats on the side aren't for tying down, they're just gonna help support the structure of the carrier itself and you have nice, thick bars going to length and width of the carrier, so that's gonna offer a lot of stability for you. more

CURT Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here, with etrailer.com, taking a look at the Curt Folding Cargo Carrier on our 2023 Jeep Wagoner L. Alright, and the Curt Carrier is a folding carrier that gives you a pretty decent size for adding additional space. Let's see, on the inside capacity, we come up to a little bit shy of 19 inches, and as far as the length, we're about 57 and a half, as far as that usable space. From here, the depth from the bottom to the top, is right at six inches. That is gonna give you about 12 inches of space to load upward and still open the hatch with this particular carrier. Also, it'll be about 13 inches as far as the height of your load in the back of your basket, to block your rear view camera and your license plate and a portion of your tail lights. more

Now this is gonna be a great option for you if you're looking for something that's gonna be able to hold a lot of items outside of your car, because maybe you're either filled up in the back, you have a lot of people with you, or you're hauling anything that you don't want inside your car that might have a lot of spillage, things either like mulch, concrete, or anything else that's kind of bag that could leak inside. Now this is gonna be great for tie-downs too. Hi Matt with eTrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Yakima EXO Swing Away System on our 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L. Now this's gonna be a great way to get some extra storage out of the back of the Wagoneer. Now we do have a lot of storage back here, but if you plan on taking a longer trip, you have a lot of gear, or have a lot of people with you, you might need a little bit of extra storage. Now let's take a closer look at that swing away feature, since it is one of the biggest features about this. How we're gonna do that is just by twisting this wing nut, and once we loosen this up, we'll be able to pull this pin right next to it, just pulling along like that and then pushing out. As far as the aluminum construction, it's gonna give you solid post on the top to tie down from. The bottom is open. If you had smaller fine items, there are other carriers that have a mesh, but in general, it works out fine. All right, and I already checked out that the measurement, if you can stack up to 12 inches from the top of your carrier and still clear the back of your hatch. If you have your seats in the upright position, that's gonna kind of limit your cargo area 'cause it's a lot of space in the Wagoneer L. more

Now this is gonna be a great system for you if you're looking to really max out what the Atlas can carry and you don't wanna put anything on top of your roof, 'cause it can be a little bit of a reach. Gonna be an easy way to kind of get any storage that you have on your vehicle. And if you go camping, it's gonna be a good way to kind of access it too. And like I said before, it's gonna be great for camping or if you're traveling with your family, you have all that extra storage that you need to put somewhere. How's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier on the back of the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So why would you need this type of cargo carrier Well, my time in customer service, I usually recommend this type of carrier, or this one specifically to people who are primarily carrying wheelchairs due to the ramp. However, it does come in handy for other applications 'cause you can, the ramp can support that full 500 pounds as well, so you'd be able to roll on heavier items, but you can also use it for like your bulkier items that take up a lot of space in your cargo area in your Grand Cherokee. All right, so let's actually get a measurement of the usable space with the ramp in the upright position. So as far as that getting around the post, it's right at 27 and a half and this guy, I'd say right at 47, eh, 47 and three quarters to be conservative with the space. So that's plenty of room to actually tie off. more

Hi, Matt with etrailer and today when we talk about the Yakima Swing Away EXO system on a 2023 Chevrolet Blazer. Now this gonna be a great option for you if you're looking for something that's gonna help you store a lot more items on your vehicle since we are gonna limited on space back here. And if you don't wanna put anything on top of your roof 'cause it can be a little bit of a hassle to reach up there and grab, this is gonna be a great way to store any of that stuff. And it's also gonna be great for you if you're going out camping since this can swing away, allowing you a lot of hatch access for extended periods of time. Now taking a closer look at the top section we have here, we're gonna have the Gear Warrior Cargo carrier on top and that's gonna be a great option for you for any of those larger items that you don't mind getting wet. Now if you do put anything up here, I do recommend strapping them down so they you don't fly off and it's gonna have a lot of great tie-down points on it. more

How's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and right now, we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier, on the back of our 21 Nissan Murano. 60 inches wide, 22 inches long, constructed of aluminum, giving you real solid contact tie-down points on the top and sides of your carrier. One thing to consider for this guy is that it will obstruct your taillights. Well, not your taillights, it'll obstruct your backup sensors and you're gonna see a portion of it in your backup camera. But that is a good thing 'cause it gives you a good idea as far as where your cargo carrier is in relation to the rear of your vehicle. So, and this guy right here, these are gonna be the contact points that you're gonna make 'cause that's the sturdier part of the carrier. more

Hey, it's Ed here and we're taking a look at our Curt Cargo Basket on the back of our 2020 Jayco Redhawk. All right, so one of the reasons that you may want a cargo carrier along with your RV is space is at a premium on the inside. So some of your bulkier items, you can transport on the rear of your vehicle using a cargo basket, and taking a closer look at our cargo carrier, the dimensions are 20" by 59". This is constructed of steel and it's powder coated. It's pretty thick powder coating finish on it, feels okay. You also have these solid bar for you to tie down using a cargo net or straps depending on what you're carrying. more

Now the EXO system is going to be a very customizable platform that has a lot of different attachments to suit your needs. And the configuration that we have here today, it is really just set up for carrying as much cargo as we can, in addition to what we can fit into our Durango. Now in this specific configuration, our box on the bottom is going to have a capacity of 100 pounds, and our basket here up top is going to have a capacity of 80 pounds. Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Nissan Rogue- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today, on our 2018 Nissan Rogue, we're gonna be checking out the CURT Steel Cargo Carrier. First impressions of the carrier on the back of the Rogue. I think it's a good fit. I like the matte black finish. It kind of looks modern, helps blend in a little bit more and it's pretty big. more

Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Dodge Durango- Video
Hi, Matt with etrailer. And today we're gonna be talking about the Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier on the back of a 2022 Dodge Durango. This carrier can support about 400 pounds which is a little bit less than some of our other options. So when I stand up here trying to stand in the center not on the mesh itself, the vehicle kind of goes down a little bit, but not too much. So I think it's gonna perform pretty well with this cargo carrier. As for the mesh, if you put weight down on it directly, you're gonna notice a lot more give than if it was gonna be on the bar itself. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Dodge Durango- Video
Hi, Matt here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about the Flint Hill Goods steel compact cargo carrier, on the back of a 2022 Dodge Durango. Some of the features of this compact cargo carrier is that it can still hold the 500 pounds, just like most of our other cargo carriers. And, the vehicle's barely going down so it's interacting very nicely with it. So that's a a plus for it. And the back of it is, since it's compact, it's not gonna extend out nearly as far as a lot of other cargo carriers. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Dodge Durango- Video
Hi Matt here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about our Flint Hills good aluminum cargo carrier on the back of the 2022 Dodge Durango. As for the capabilities of this cargo carrier, it's about a medium sized cargo carrier that can handle about 500 pounds. So if I get in the back of it, I'm about 250 pounds, just under, and the vehicle barely shifts down, so the vehicle handles it very nicely as well. As for putting anything inside the cargo carrier, the walls are pretty short on it, they're pretty shallow, so this would be a great cargo carrier for anything like bags or anything that might kind of spill over just a little bit. As for the dimensions, it's gonna be about 48 inches in an interior of the width, just over 21 inches for the length, and then on the bottom here we have just under 12 inches. more

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier on the 2022 Dodge Durango. This medium-sized cargo carrier is gonna be able to handle 500 pounds. So that's perfect if you have anything heavy you wanna keep outside your vehicle and not inside the back. If I get inside of it, you can see I'm just under 250 pounds, and that's handling pretty well. Now, if we look at the dimensions of it, the width is gonna be about 47 1/4 inches, and the length is gonna be about 20 1/2 inches, depth just under six inches. As for tie down, tying anything down, now, really, we have a lot of spots that work great for that, you know, like even this aluminum is still gonna be, is still really sturdy. more

This is a easier solution. Now, you can also put sweaty or smelly gear out here or dirty gear. more

What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this aluminum cargo carrier from Flint Hill Goods, and we put it on a 2021 Toyota Rav 4. Cargo carrier's a great idea to get more room out of your Rav 4 if you don't want to mess with a cargo box on top, or if you just wanna make more leg room for everybody on a longer trip, you can move some of that gear out here, strap it down, and be on your way. Another cool thing is that if you want messy or dirty gear, you can put it, throw it on here, and not bring that mess inside the Rav 4, you can just spray this off and be done with it. Now, this is gonna be a lightweight aluminum cargo carrier, so that means it's gonna be easy to put in the hitch or take out and store in your garage. Just because it's aluminum though, doesn't mean it's not heavy duty, it can still handle up to 500 pounds, so you can still load up your gear and not worry about it. more

If you had an option for your RAV4 getting more space out of your vehicle, so let's say it's fully loaded with gear, you wanna throw some more things on the outside, you can do that. Maybe you don't wanna mess with a rooftop box. This is a simpler solution. Or maybe you're hauling stuff you don't even wanna put in the vehicle, so you're gonna have muddy or sweaty sports gear. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Mazda CX-9- Video
Hey everybody. Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods hitch-mounted steel cargo carrier on our 2022 Mazda CX-9. Now, our carrier here today is going to be made of powder coated steel, which just means that the steel is going to be nice and durable. While the powder coating helps it resist a lot of that corrosion and usually steel is a little bit heavier but our basket only comes in at 25 pounds a day, which is just as much weighs as much as some of our aluminum cargo carriers. So if you wanted to store this in your garage off of your vehicle I don't think it would be any trouble compared to some of those aluminum cargo carriers about the same weight of just kind of mounting it up on the wall since it doesn't weigh as much anymore. more

Hey, everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier on our 2022 Mazda CX-9. Now, our basket is going to be made of aluminum, which means it's going to be very lightweight and corrosion resistant, pretty important for driving through the elements. It is only going to weigh 23 pounds, so if you want to store this in your garage off of your vehicle, it is fairly lightweight and being able to just like hang it from a point on your wall perhaps. Now, if you have to keep it on your vehicle though, what kind of dimensions is it going to add to it Well, we're gonna go and take our tape measure, put it on our bumper, and measure the furthest point out, seeing that we're only adding on about 25 1/2 inches to the back of our vehicle. We did look this up earlier, and you probably do have about 16 to 17 inches of space to stack up on your items before you start to interfere with your full hatch clearance. more
